Dep. FM of the I.R.Iran Attends the High- Level Conference of the High Contracting Parties of the TAC in Manila

Dr. Saeed Khatibzadeh Deputy Foreign Minister and President of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Attend to the High- Level Conference of the High Contracting Parties to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC) and the commemoration of its 50th Anniversary in Manila on 24 July 2026

Dr. Saeed Khatibzadeh, Deputy Foreign Minister and President of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, travelled to the Philippines to participate in the High- Level Conference of the High Contracting Parties to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC) and the commemoration of its 50th Anniversary, held in Manila on 24 July 2026.

During the conference, Dr. Khatibzadeh delivered an Speech and outlined the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the Breakout Session on Conflict Prevention and Preventive Diplomacy.

On the sidelines of the conference, he also held meetings with a number of participating dignitaries, including H.E. Ms. Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro, Secretary for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines, H.E. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary-General of ASEAN, as well as foreign ministers and other senior officials attending the conference.
